Client Eligibility Specialist

Miami, Florida / Contract To Hire / $18 / Per Hour

Job Description

A mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking a Client Eligibility Specialist to help assess client needs and determine qualification for supportive programs, aid, and community-based resources.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct client intake assessments and eligibility screenings
  • Evaluate financial, social, and situational information to determine program qualification
  • Connect clients with available resources and supportive services
  • Prioritize urgent client cases and assist with triage coordination
  • Maintain accurate records, referrals, and case documentation
  • Provide professional and empathetic client support
Requirements
  • MUST be bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Experience with in nonprofit organizations, social services, human services, healthcare, or case management strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
  • Case management, benefits coordination, or community outreach experience is highly preferred.
