Position Summary
This career service regional position is responsible for reviewing all residential licensing applications received and processing them within required time frames. The role also involves conducting on‑site monitoring visits at each assigned agency‑licensed residential facility using the Agency's Residential Monitoring Tool.
Responsibilities- Receive and review new licensing applications, ensuring completeness.
- Approve or deny applications within 90 days of receipt.
- Complete the Central Abuse Hotline Records Search (CAHRS) form for each application.
- Verify that licensees have checked the FDLE sex offender database and document findings.
- Conduct monthly monitoring visits for homes with residents and quarterly visits for homes with no residents, using the Residential Monitoring Checklist.
- Ensure at least one visit per year occurs on a weekend or outside normal business hours.
- Review personnel records prior to initial licensure and annually during the renewal process.
- Maintain licensing information in APD systems (GRID and APO iConnect), updating GRID after each visit.
- Document deficiencies in writing and review corrective action plans to address them.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with monitoring or quality assurance activities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to community locations.
- Knowledge of residential group home licensing requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ensuring compliance with state rules and regulations.
- Ability to travel for work purposes.
$39,999.96 to $52,419.90 annually (bi‑weekly $1,538.46 – $2,016.15).
