EMPLOYMENT SECURITY REPRESENTATIVE II

Location: Miami, FL
Job Description: Supports economic development in South Florida by working with employers and job seekers to promote career services, market employment programs, and ensure compliance with employment laws.
Responsibilities- Assist employers in listing job openings on Employ Florida and market recruitment and pre‑screening services.
- Inform employers and job seekers about labor market information, job qualification criteria, training opportunities, and community resources.
- Refer job seekers to employers and provide placement services to foster economic development.
- Ensure job orders on Employ Florida meet COM and EEO requirements.
- Conduct group and individual orientations, educating customers on interviewing techniques and resume preparation.
- Maintain accurate records, evaluate data, and make presentations as needed.
- Knowledge of the labor exchange process and data collection methods.
- Knowledge of Employ Florida and related web‑based services.
- Computer application skills and experience with Microsoft office programs.
- Ability to promote and market Career Center services.
- Effective communication skills in verbal and written form.
- Teamwork and independent work capabilities.
- Problem‑solving and customer service skills.
- Interviewer skills and ability to conduct job interviews.
- Data analysis and reporting proficiency.
- Presentation skills in group or individual settings.
Background Screening: Level 2 security background screening required (fingerprinting and law‑enforcement records check).
- Workforce professional certification (Tier
1) within 12 months of hire. - Local travel required; own transportation necessary.
$44,000 annually.
