Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Limited License Master Social Worker role located in Miami, FL. The professional in this role will provide psychosocial assessments, short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and care coordination for individuals and families in hospital and health care settings. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include developing and implementing care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, facilitating referrals to community resources, and advocating for patient rights and access to services.

The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, adhering to ethical and regulatory standards, and participating in case conferences and quality improvement activities. The Limited License Master Social Worker will contribute to patient education, discharge planning, and ongoing support to promote holistic well‑being.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program and current Limited License Master Social Worker (LLMSW or equivalent) credential in the applicable state.
  • Experience providing clinical social work services in hospital, health care, or behavioral health settings, including psychosocial assessments and short-term interventions.
  • Strong skills in crisis intervention, care coordination, and discharge planning, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and active listening skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of community resources, social service systems, and relevant regulations, including patient privacy and professional ethics.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize tasks, and maintain professional boundaries in high‑paced clinical environments.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer applications; bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are highly beneficial.
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, trauma‑informed, and person‑centered care, with openness to ongoing training and professional development.
