Position: Sr Mobile Engineer

Location: Miami, FL

Duration: 4-6 month Contract-to-Hire

Rate Range: Up to $110k base salary

• 5+ years of experience working on Native Android/iOS Development
• Expertise in native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) development
• Experience with hybrid frameworks such as React Native or Flutter

• Senior Engineer, Software plays a critical role in the development and enhancement of mobile applications across iOS, Android, and hybrid platforms.
• Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile solutions aligned with industry best practices and business objectives.
• Senior Engineer, Software can take business requirements from concept to project delivery.
• Contributes to technical architecture decisions, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and drives mobile feature implementation.
• Requires deep expertise in native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin); experience with React Native or Flutter.
• Mentors junior developers and fosters a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Troubleshoots and optimizes mobile applications to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
• Collaborates with product managers, designers, backend developers, and QA to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
• Works within Agile development frameworks to ensure timely delivery of features.
• Stays updated with emerging mobile technologies and participates in proof-of-concept initiatives as needed.

• Design & Architecture:
  Lead mobile application architecture, select appropriate frameworks and technologies for native and hybrid solutions. Define components and interactions with scalability in mind; align with enterprise architecture and business strategy.
• Requirements & Development:
  Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions; maintain technical documentation and deliver high-quality, maintainable code.
• Code Quality & Security:
  Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, ensure security, authentication, and secure API integrations; stay current on security threats in mobile development.
• Performance & Scalability:
  Optimize performance, battery efficiency, and responsiveness; address bottlenecks and work with Dev Ops for deployment, monitoring, and high availability.

  Provide estimates, participate in Agile processes, assist in troubleshooting during development and post-release.
• Research & Innovation:
  Stay abreast of emerging technologies; lead PoCs to assess new solutions.
• Mentorship & Leadership:
  Mentor developers, promote engineering standards, and support a culture of collaboration and innovation.
