Sr Software Engineer, Salesforce

As a member of the Salesforce Engineering team, the Senior Developer will be responsible for the overall analysis, architecture, design, implementation, and support of technology solutions within Lennar Corporation. The Senior Developer will ensure that the system accurately meets defined business expectations, that proper functional and performance testing is completed, and that security requirements are considered by working with project teams.

The Senior Developer must identify and confirm technical design risks, develop mitigating approaches, mentor junior developers, and provide guidance.

• Capture, design, and implement Salesforce platform solutions using best practices through custom development.
• Lead senior technical design sessions and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between current and desired end states.
• Meet deadlines and prioritize simultaneous requests.
• Provide technical assistance and end‑user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how‑to” assistance.
• Engage continuously in improvement efforts on application design, support, and practice development to improve current business processes.
• Execute unit, performance, and user acceptance tests to meet quality standards.
• Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, and write unit/functional tests to drive code coverage and automation metrics.
• Communicate risks to engineering staff through training and technical demonstration of vulnerabilities and secure design patterns.
• Work with engineers and developers on solutions and integrations, providing hands‑on expert level assistance on technical issues.
• Design and implement solutions on the Salesforce platform with industry best practices.
• Present to peers and senior management with clarity.
• Independently solve technical problems in assigned area.

• Minimum 6+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree and Certified SF Admin/Platform Developer I certification required.
• Certified Platform Developer II preferred.
• Experience with Agentforce and Data 360 (Data Cloud) is a plus.
• Understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Marketing, and Experience Clouds.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform best practices, security model, coding, design guidelines, and governor limits.
• Understanding of system architecture and ability to craft scalable solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Aura / LWC components.
• Strong experience with declarative tools and detailed knowledge of flows, object configuration, validation rules, and app builder.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio Code, Salesforce Lightning Design System, and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle.
• Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred.
• Proficiency in SOQL, SOSL, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Working experience in CI/CD, Git commands, Git Hub source control, Azure preferred.
• Prior experience with other technologies like Java/.Net is highly preferred.
