Job Overview

Software Development Intern at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in Miami, FL. The role reports to the Sr. Software Manager and involves design, development, testing, and debugging of software programs for laboratory software systems, including Windows and Linux-based applications.

• Prototype, design, implement and maintain software applications.
• Code, unit test, and maintain Windows / Linux-based software applications.
• Assist in developing technical documentation to represent application design and code.
• Collaborate with a multifunctional global team to build a world‑class innovative software engineering organization.

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• Experience with any user interface development.
• Hands‑on experience with MS tools and technologies such as Visual Studio, unit testing frameworks, Azure Dev Ops.

The internship is a 12‑week paid program that provides functional learning on robust project work, executive and senior leadership engagement, and exposure to Danaher Business System fundamentals. The program culminates with a report‑out presentation to leaders from the organization. After successful completion, interns may have the opportunity to return as full‑time associates upon graduation.
