Senior Golang Developer; Backend

Insight Global’s client is a fast-growing dental marketplace startup based in downtown Miami. They have a cutting‑edge on‑demand web and mobile platform that seamlessly connects licensed dental professionals with dental offices, meeting both temporary and full‑time staffing needs. • Design and implement micro‑services to ensure scalable and maintainable systems
• Write, test, and maintain production‑quality code on a daily basis
• Design and optimise database schemas, queries, and data flow patterns
• Ensure system reliability, monitoring, and incident response capabilities
• Drive performance optimisation and scalability for distributed systems and APIs
• Research and implement innovative solutions to challenging engineering problems
• Contribute to and uphold strong engineering culture, technical documentation, and collaborative problem‑solving

• Strong experience in backend development with proficiency in Go and Node.js
• Hands‑on experience with message queuing systems (Rabbit
  
  MQ, Kafka, etc.)
• Solid understanding of Postgre
  
  SQL and Mongo
  
  DB, including query optimisation and schema design
• Experience with AWS services, containerisation (Docker), and Kubernetes deployment
• Problem‑solving mindset with ability to tackle complex technical challenges
• Effective communicator who works well in collaborative, cross‑functional teams
• Eager to contribute to code reviews, documentation, and engineering best practices
• Understanding of micro‑services architecture and RESTful API development

• 7-10+ years of experience (would consider a little less if someone is very skilled)
• 3+ years of Go
• Background in technology‑focused organisations
• Experience with any public cloud (AWS preferred)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices
• Strong micro‑services experience
• Able to work remotely (8‑5 Eastern) and on‑call (rotation likely a week per month); will need to attend first week in Miami
• Experience moving from monolith to micro‑services
• Event‑driven micro‑services experience
• Kafka experience
• Kubernetes and Docker experience
