Salary RangeSenior level: $185,000 - $200,000 USD. Compensation is determined during the interview process based on experience and fit.
About the RoleAs a Full-stack Engineer on the Wallets Team, you will focus exclusively on building and scaling Crossmint’s wallet infrastructure and programmable wallet platform that enterprises and developers use to onboard users, manage assets, and power financial flows across blockchains. Your work will directly impact how companies integrate wallets that abstract private key complexity, gas mechanics, and blockchain interactions via secure APIs and SDKs.
Responsibilities- Write high-quality production code that is correct, secure, performant, and maintainable.
- Build and scale wallet infrastructure components, including wallet creation, signing flows, transaction orchestration, and lifecycle management.
- Implement and evolve programmable wallet primitives, such as modular signers, delegated transaction logic, and permissions enforced onchain.
- Build backend services, APIs, and frontend tools that empower developers to integrate Crossmint wallets and developer experiences at scale.
- Design scalable, secure systems that bridge onchain and offchain components while maintaining data integrity and compliance.
- Contribute to architecture and design documentation to shape the long-term evolution of Crossmint wallet products.
- Own features end to end from design to production deployment and iteration.
- Participate in paid on-call rotations once or twice per quarter.
- Mentor and support teammates to help grow the engineering organization.
- Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years building production systems, ideally with backend and full-stack responsibilities.
- Strong programming skills in at least one modern language such as Type Script (ideal), JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar.
- Experience with wallet infrastructure, transaction systems, or blockchain-related services.
- Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including smart contract interactions, gas abstraction, and transaction life cycles.
- A product and ownership mindset with an ability to balance usability, security, and long-term reliability.
- Familiarity with EVM ecosystems, Solana, or multi-chain support.
- Experience designing hybrid onchain/offchain wallet systems.
- Prior experience at a crypto-native or Web3 engineering team.
- Familiarity with secure key management and programmable permission systems.
