Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, and maintenance of custom-built applications, ensuring seamless connectivity with enterprise systems. This role plays a key part in delivering scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-native solutions, while also providing leadership and technical direction.

• Lead and mentor a team of application developers and integration specialists
• Oversee the full application lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Architect scalable, secure applications using AWS services
• Define and enforce coding standards and best practices
• Manage repositories, version control, and deployments

• Design and implement integration strategies across enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, data platforms, third-party APIs)
• Build solutions using APIs, ETL tools, and event-driven architectures
• Ensure data integrity, performance, and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges

• Provide technical guidance on tools, methodologies, and architecture
• Participate in architectural reviews and technology decisions
• Support planning, estimation, and project delivery
• Communicate progress and align with stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
• 5+ years of experience building and operating applications on AWS

• AWS services:
  Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, EC2, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, Event Bridge, Cloud Front
• Integration with enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
• API development (REST/GraphQL), event-driven systems
