Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, Apache Spark, and Airflow.
- Implement real‑time data ingestion and processing with Kafka and AWS services (Kinesis, S3, Redshift, Glue).
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust data models.
- Optimize data storage, query performance, and cost efficiency across cloud data warehouses.
- Establish best practices for data quality, monitoring, and documentation.
- 5+ years of professional experience building data pipelines in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands‑on experience in Apache Spark.
- Experience orchestrating workflows with Airflow and handling streaming data via Kafka.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and performance tuning.
- Ability to work autonomously, mentor junior engineers, and communicate complex technical ideas clearly.
