Build distributed and reactive systems using Scala, Play, and Akka.

• Develop backend services using Scala and Play
• Design RESTful APIs
• Optimize MySQL and Oracle databases
• Work on distributed architectures
• Ensure high performance and scalability
• Write unit and integration tests
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code
• Perform code reviews and ensure code quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate effectively with the development and product teams to understand software requirements and specifications

5+ years backend experience, 3+ should be in Scala

• Strong Scala, Play, and Akka knowledge
• MySQL and Oracle expertise
• Experience with distributed systems and modern development practices
• Ability to work independently
• Exposure to CI/CD and EKS

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $44.73/hour - $69.89/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
