Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Services Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, customer‑facing applications and distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, cloud‑native technologies, and event‑driven systems. This role requires a hands‑on technical leader who can collaborate with cross‑functional teams, mentor engineers, and take full ownership of project delivery from design through production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise‑grade applications and microservices.
Architect and implement scalable, resilient, and high‑performing distributed systems.
Drive technical direction, best practices, and engineering standards across development teams.
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.
Design and implement APIs, event‑driven services, and integration solutions.
Oversee application deployment strategies using containerization and orchestration platforms.
Guide offshore and distributed teams to ensure timely project delivery and quality outcomes.
Manage scope, technical risks, and delivery timelines while maintaining accountability for project success.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of software development and engineering experience.
2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or lead engineering role.
Strong hands‑on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
Extensive experience designing and building microservices‑based architectures.
Experience with Maven‑based application development.
Strong knowledge of Docker containers and Kubernetes.
Experience with Git Ops practices and Argo CD.
Hands‑on experience with Kafka and event‑driven architectures.
Experience working with Couchbase or other No

Strong understanding of GraphQL and API design principles.
Experience developing large‑scale, customer‑facing distributed systems.
Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts, eventual consistency, and asynchronous processing.
