Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

We’re seeking a hands‑on Forward Deployed Engineer to build customer‑facing software solutions and translate clinical and operational needs into shipped software. You’ll join a small, fast‑moving team with a strong emphasis on customer collaboration and practical problem‑solving.

• Develop front‑end and back‑end features using Type Script, React, Deno, Node, and SQL.
• Work directly with customers to gather requirements and iterate on solutions.
• Deploy and operate services on AWS and troubleshoot production issues.
• Travel frequently for on‑site customer engagements and deployments.
• Contribute to product design and rapid prototyping; move ideas to shipped code.
• Support team logistics during travel and ensure smooth customer experiences.

• Experience with the stack:
  Type Script, SQL, React, Deno, Node, and AWS.
• Willingness to work in‑person in Miami; open to relocation from anywhere in the U.S.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without employer‑sponsored visa.
• Strong customer‑facing communication and ability to collaborate with clinical or operational teams.
• High emotional maturity and a reliable, hands‑on build style.
• Strong ability to ship reliable software quickly; comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Open to new grads and early‑career candidates.

Base salary: $80,000–$130,000 annually, with a total compensation target in the range of $120,000–$150,000 when including benefits, equity, and travel‑related allowances where applicable.

Primary location:
Miami, Florida, United States. This is an on‑site role with travel to customer sites as needed. Visa sponsorship is not available.
