Senior Performance Engineer

Apex Systems is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to work remotely in a long-term, 6 month rolling contract position for a reputable, enterprise-level cruise line client of ours.

Remote, but working in EST

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Performance Engineering experience
• Load runner
• Restful Services
• Java or C#

Job Description

• 7+ years of experience in application performance testing (Web/Mobile/Restful services)
• 5+ years of experience in Load Runner and other performance monitoring tools
• Experience in driving strategy for Performance testing
• Should be able to drive the performance team goals independently while collaborating with other stakeholders
• Good experience with Troubleshooting and provide suggestions to increase load and performance of applications.
• Good understanding performance standards and best practices and provide guidance to other software engineers from performance perspective
• Support extended teams in troubleshooting problems, such as application performance issues and should be comfortable with scripting, debugging and problem solving.
• Demonstrated Communication and leadership skills.
• Experience and understanding of programming language like C#/Java
