Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Air Import E-commerce Logistics Operations Coordinator to support high-volume international e-commerce import operations. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound air cargo shipments, processing documentation, managing cargo recovery, and ensuring timely handling and distribution of shipments from airlines to warehouse and final-mile networks. The ideal candidate has experience in air cargo imports, freight forwarding, or e-commerce logistics and can operate efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily air import shipments from international origins to Miami (MIA)
- Monitor flight arrivals and ensure timely cargo recovery from airlines and ground handlers
- Process and verify shipment documentation, including MAWB, HAWB, manifest, and commercial invoices
- Coordinate cargo transfer from airline terminals to bonded warehouse or distribution facilities
- Ensure compliance with CBP, TSA, and import regulations
- Work closely with airlines, ground handlers, trucking companies, and warehouse teams
- Track shipment status and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or operational issues
- Enter and maintain accurate shipment records in logistics systems (Magaya, Cargo Wise, or similar)
- Support cargo breakdown, sorting, and last-mile distribution coordination
- Assist with volume planning and peak season readiness
- Communicate with internal teams, overseas partners, and vendors
Qualifications Required:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- 1–3 years of experience in air import operations, freight forwarding, or logistics
- Basic understanding of air cargo documentation (MAWB, HAWB, manifest)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Experience in e-commerce logistics
- Experience working with airline cargo terminals or ground handlers
- Experience with bonded warehouse or CFS operations
- Experience with Magaya, Cargo Wise, or similar logistics systems
