Cdl Class A Driver

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Route Driver that has a Class A Commercial License.

Great pay and Benefits! Starting pay is $200/day

Work Schedules:

Our drivers have no overnight stays! Most route schedules are five (5) days per week, with additional days as required, to meet customer needs. Candidates must be available to work weekends and holiday based on the assigned route.

Our drivers are responsible for delivery and unloading dairy products to retain customers, ensuring accurate delivery count and inventory, and completing delivery paperwork. Drivers will perform the following duties and ensure compliance to all applicable DOT regulations:

Driver Duties:

* Perform pre and post trip MVI (motor vehicle inspections) in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies

* Complete and submit driver logs and inspection record

* Follow and comply with all DOT regulations and safety standards

* Verify delivery accuracy and assure saleable condition of products

* Load and unload cases of product manually with various tools and ensure load is properly secured

* Deliver a wide variety of cold dairy products to multiple customer locations and collect empty cases

* Works with customers in a courteous and professional manner; maintaining a clean and neat appearance

* Handle documentation in computerized hand-held device and/or paper as required

* Collection of money from customers and record transactions on receipts

* Submit daily customer paperwork including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports

* Resolve discrepancies and report issues to management

* Assist in opportunities to identify process improvements

Essential Qualification:

* Current Commercial Class A or Class B (with airbrakes) Driver's license required!

* Minimum of one year of experienced delivery driver

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Clean/solid driving record required

* Experienced in operating tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions

* Organizational and time management skills

* Must be available to work weekends and holiday

* Great customer service skills
