Position – Aviation Materials & Inventory Coordinator Location:
Miami, FL

We are currently seeking an Aviation Materials & Inventory Coordinator to support a Part 145 MRO environment in Miami, FL. This role supports aircraft maintenance operations through inventory control, shipping/receiving, logistics coordination, and aviation materials management in a fast‑paced aviation environment.

Summary

The Aviation Materials & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for receiving, tracking, organizing, and issuing aircraft materials and components while ensuring compliance with FAA, EASA, company quality, and inventory control standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support operational material planning and logistics activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, identify, label, store, and issue aircraft parts and materials
  • Verify traceability documentation, certifications, and shipping paperwork for accuracy
  • Maintain organized inventory control and accurate stock records
  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, and logistics activities with internal departments and customers
  • Monitor material shortages and support operational material planning
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safety‑compliant storage and warehouse areas
  • Support periodic inventory counts and audits
  • Follow FAA, EASA, company quality, and OSHA safety procedures
  • Assist with packaging, preservation, and shipping coordination of aircraft components and materials
  • Other duties as assigned

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years of inventory, warehouse, logistics, aviation materials, or supply chain experience required.
  • Aviation, aerospace, or FAA repair station experience required.
  • Must be authorized to legally work in the United States.
  • Conversational Spanish proficiency preferred.
  • Experience with aviation inventory systems or Quick Aviation preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to accurately process shipping, receiving, inventory, and material transactions
  • Basic understanding of traceability documentation, certification paperwork, and aviation material control
  • Familiarity with OSHA warehouse and workplace safety procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to obtain and maintain airport security/SIDA access if required
  • Knowledge of hazardous material handling and shipping procedures preferred
  • Self‑motivated with strong interest in long‑term operational growth
  • Ability to support warehouse and inventory operations in a fast‑paced aviation environment
