Delivery Driver

Job Description:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering medical equipment and medical products to hospitals, medical clinics and homes throughout Miami-Dade.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

Transport and deliver products to customer locations in a safe and timely manner
Inspect delivery vehicle for mechanical items, safety issues and lack of proper maintenance. Report any equipment, vehicle or traffic violations to the appropriate management.
Maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
Work with the Manager to ensure that orders are completed on time and to company standards.
Perform daily pre-trip inspection of vehicle.
Maintain communication with colleagues in the warehouse and maintain an organized delivery route.
Assist in inventory management in the warehouse.
Keep current on all applicable rules and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. A valid Miami, FL driver's license is required. A clean driving record is required.
Ability to read, write and understand English. Ability to write straight forward text. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
Previous experience in delivery, driving a truck a plus but not required.
Strong verbal communication skills with a customer service focus.
Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
