Salary Range: $18.41 To $23.39 Hourly
Full-Time, Non-Exempt position based on a 40-hour work week with an hourly pay rate TBD. Position located at 1749 3rd Ave South, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33460, part of the Public Employees Union (PEU) collective bargaining agreement.
Pay Rate: $18.41-$23.39

Summary: Semi-skilled operations of routing traffic control maintenance and servicing of a variety of medium and light pieces of equipment used in the Traffic Division. Responsibilities include pavement, sidewalk, curb repair, signage and striping.
- Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) setup, takedown, and maintenance
- Maintenance, installation and removal of roadway signage
- Maintenance, installation and removal of roadway striping
- Roadway pavement and base repairs
- Concrete sidewalk, driveway, and curbing construction and demolition
- Alleyway grading and associated work
- Miscellaneous roadway work as applicable
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates all types of equipment used in traffic control
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to interpret written and oral instructions
- Ability to perform with accuracy, take tape measure and mathematical calculations when laying out stop bars, cross walls and ADA disabled parking spaces
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions
Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED with six months experience in traffic maintenance related work is highly desired
Certifications: Must possess valid Florida driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (CDL Class B recommended)
