CDL-A Truck Driver

• This is an OTR position only - No local or regional runs available
• Minimum 8 months of OTR experience in the last 24 months
• No terminations in the past 12 months

• Route type: OTR only
• Home time: Run for 21 days, then home for 7 days
• Freight: 100% no-touch freight, full dry van truckload
• Job type: Solo, Company
• Pay: Earn $85,000 - $95,000 per year
• CPM: Earn 65 - 70 - based on experience & endorsements

For this position, you must park the truck at one of our terminals, and Barr-Nunn will pay to fly you home and back, or if preferred, reimburse you for your fuel home and back from our Columbus terminal, for drivers living east of I-35

• 1st check transition bonus: earn up to $2,075 transition bonus + $300 orientation pay + PTO on your first payday*

• Well-equipped, late-model assigned Freightliner Cascadia tractors with newer 53' Wabash trailers that include tracking & cargo sensors, equipped with TV, microwave, fridge, inverter, free Sirius XM radio, bedding, sheets, pillow, & CB radio

• Valid CDL-A
• Minimum 8 months of OTR experience in the last 24 months - including snow & ice driving in major cities experience
• No terminations in the past 12 months
• No DWIs in the past 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Pass a pre-employment DOT physical, drug screens, & human performance evaluation
• No preventable DOT reportable accidents in the past 3 years

• Paid weekly + orientation pay
• Higher band pay per mile on complete loads less than 400 miles
• 0 - 100 miles earn $35 per load
• 101 - 400 miles earn $25 per load
• Unmatched CSA safety bonuses: earn up to $925 + PTO* - opportunities every 90 days
• Safety-based pay raises at designated mileage intervals, to a high pay cap
• $650 on-road safety bonus - eligible every 90 days
