Overview

Enterprise Mobility operates the Enterprise Rent‑A‑Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo car rental brands and has an opening for a Fleet Coordinator (vehicle quality control) at its Miami Headquarters located in MIA.

The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Fleet Supervisor with fleet movement, lot organization, the intake process, and the execution of overall fleet movement at the airport. This position ensures that all vehicles are located in the appropriate area(s) and coordinates or executes asset control, fleet reconciliation, and damage evaluation initiatives.

Responsibilities Lot Organization
  • Monitor all aspects of vehicle movement on and off the lot for the entire fleet at the location(s), including offsite and third‑party overflow lots.
  • Make and take calls with outside organizations regarding vehicle exchanges and recoveries.
  • Manage driver activity to and from the airport, coordinating pick‑ups and drop‑offs on and off site with vendors, and ensuring new car stock, in‑fleet units, and resale units are moved to the best location to maximize lot space and traffic flow.
Damage/Deletes
  • Use company computer systems to monitor and track vehicles based on movement type such as recalls, deletes, and cars needing preventative maintenance.
  • Segregate vehicles based on sold status and vehicles needing defueling and repairs.
  • Inspect vehicles for damage prior to fleet movement to ensure the proper check‑in process is followed.
  • Coordinate body‑damage repair and glass replacement needs with shops and vendors.
  • Facilitate lost and found items with third‑party or auto‑detailer teams.
Registration
  • Maintain current registration and ensure all expired license plates are grounded by working closely with staff on title registration, fleet maintenance tracking, turn‑back recording, duplicate key procedures, and other special projects.
Reporting
  • Execute daily fleet inventory unit counts.
  • Use programs such as EVMS to report activated units and provide updates on vehicle revenue and downtime.
  • Track bus preventative maintenance schedule.
Point Of Contact
  • Act as the point of contact for the driver team on a daily basis.
  • Provide administrative support for the Fleet Supervisor and assistance to Branch Managers, Assistant Managers, and Vehicle Repair where needed.
  • Maintain relationships with a variety of body shops and onsite vendors.
  • Act as a point of contact for managers to obtain specific upgrade vehicles for customers.
  • Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
  • Maintain a reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
  • No drug or alcohol related convictions in the last 5 years.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience handling basic customer service and/or office administration functions.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work‑authorization sponsorship by the company now or in the future.
  • Must be able to work the schedule listed above.
