Material Delivery Professional Dry Bulk Tanker Driver

Description

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Dry Bulk Tanker Driver to join our Midlands team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of fly ash and cement from local suppliers to designated concrete plant locations. What You'll Do:

• Safely operate a dry bulk tanker truck to haul cement and fly ash from local suppliers to scheduled concrete plants.
• Perform all job duties in strict accordance with company safety, environmental, and operational policies.
• Load and unload cargo following vendor and company policies and procedures.
• Properly track and document activity logs, trip tickets, and other relevant records.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safety and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to ensure timely deliveries.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Class-A CDL with a minimum of 2 years’ professional driving experience.
• Prior experience operating a tanker truck is preferred but not required.
• Current DOT Physical.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to work a variable-hour schedule.
• Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to push / pull maximum of 75 lbs.
• Ability to sit for long periods, stand, walk, type, carry, kneel, ascend and descent stairs, and bend.
• Ability to work primarily indoors with occasional work outdoors in multiple types of weather / environmental conditions.
• Ability to complete truck inspections.
