Job Duties
- Perform line maintenance (on‑call and scheduled) work on various customers' aircraft.
- Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases (within the scope of approval) returning aircraft to service.
- Responsible for servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components; effectively perform work to meet deadlines and performance goals.
- Troubleshoot systems; disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to maintain fully functioning equipment according to approved technical data provided by the customer.
- Ensure all departing aircraft are safe per FARs and the air carrier/manufacturer manuals and all work performed is properly documented.
- Perform line maintenance duties, activities, and maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Collaborate and communicate with the air carrier’s maintenance control center as required.
- 2+ years of recent line maintenance experience, emphasis on troubleshooting, daily and turn checks.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, utilize hand and finger dexterity; climb, balance, bend, crawl, and occasionally work from heights in precarious places.
- Ability to lift, push, and carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Awareness of working near moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, loud noises.
- Visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information.
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor and indoor temperatures.
- Read and write English.
- Pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Aircraft technician with B767, B747, and A320 aircraft types.
- Current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
- Training on EASA B1 standards is a plus.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Customer‑facing skills, ability to work with flight crew and interact professionally.
