Role Overview
As a CDL‑Certified Delivery Service Driver at Restaurant Technologies, you will operate an automatic straight truck on local delivery routes, transporting cooking oil to commercial kitchens while ensuring safe, accurate deliveries and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Operate a 12,000–20,000 lb. GVW straight truck for local deliveries.
- Connect hoses to customer oil tanks to load/unload cooking oil.
- Use company‑issued iPhone apps for route tracking, invoicing, and compliance.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers to meet their needs.
- Monitor tank levels to avoid oil outages and ensure seamless service.
- Uphold DOT, OSHA, and HACCP safety standards.
- Work the 2am start shift on a rotating schedule (Sunday–Wednesday, 4/10s). Overnight/hotel stay required one week per month.
- Handle physical tasks such as climbing ladders, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid CDL Class A or B with Tanker endorsement.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
- Safe driving record: limited MVR violations in the past 36 months; no speeding over 100mph in the past 5 years.
- Must pass a DOT pre‑employment drug screen and subject to random drug and alcohol testing after hire.
- High School Diploma or GED (highly preferred).
- 2+ years of CDL‑regulated driving experience.
- Bilingual skills (preferred).
- Comfortable using hand tools and performing basic troubleshooting.
- Base pay $28.00/hr plus shift differential, overtime, and quarterly bonus up to $5,200 per year.
