Class B CDL Driver
Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Class B CDL Driver for our Davie, FL team. You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. This highly motivated & safety‑first individual will be responsible for operating Class B commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.
This position reports to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities- Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to 24' box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Rotate on‑call responsibilities as part of the Emergency Response team.
- Transport hazardous, non‑hazardous, regulated medical waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations.
- Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
- Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License, with 1+ year of commercial driving experience.
- Active Hazmat endorsement.
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre‑employment physical, and drug screening (inclusive of THC).
- Participation in random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of company policy.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds regularly.
- Willingness to work flexible hours during the work week (Monday‑Friday).
- Ability to work overtime regularly.
- Must be able to report to designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts.
- Position is safety‑sensitive and involves handling hazardous chemicals and biological waste, requiring proper personal protective equipment.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
- Previous experience in environmental services or related field.
- Tanker endorsement.
