Main Responsibilities
  • Greeting our customers and ensuring they have a great experience while you fuel and wash vehicles.
  • Performing vehicle readiness inspections to confirm tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items are completed.
  • Maintaining clean and safe facilities for customers and associates.
  • Building skills through training and coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance repairs.
  • Completing other projects and tasks assigned by a supervisor.

General Requirements
  • High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work outside.
  • Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Understand and comply with specific instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, or other information established by Penske management.
  • Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including correct tool selection, PPE, machine guarding, and best safety practices.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Maintain a current driver qualification file, including annual MVR checks, DOT physical, and safety performance history.
  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and DOT requirements as applicable (CDL holders must also pass a DOT drug screening within 30 days of start).
  • Willingness to work the required schedule, location, complete background screening, and potential travel for training.
  • Maintain a constant state of alertness and safety in all operational activities.
Physical Requirements
  • Move frequently, stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods during the work schedule.
  • Use hands routinely to grasp, reach, touch, handle, feel, or otherwise operate required tools or controls.
  • Work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms.
  • Work in all weather conditions.
  • Navigates safely in a workplace with frequent movement of large trucks.
  • Regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg). The position may also require pushing/pulling truck tires that exceed 100 pounds.
Pay

$23.38 per hour.
