Warehouse Associate

Job Description

• Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.)
• Sorts and organizes freight
• Operates various types of material handling equipment
• Sorts, repacks, and labels freight
• Identifies unusable pallets
• Can read, count, and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
• Removes items from sorting bins, scans, and places onto conveyor belt
• Removes items from packing bins, scans using RF Scanner for accuracy, produces packing list, and bags items
• Operates warehouse machinery in accordance with customer SOPs (eg. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
• Maintains work area in a clean and hazard‑free condition

$14.00 – $28.00 per hour

Based on productivity

• 6 months warehouse experience (preferred; training available)
• Works in a physically demanding environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50 lbs
• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (e.g., electric pallet jack)
• Meets fast‑paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Overtime/weekends required during peak/seasonal volumes
• Can work in various climate conditions (potentially cooler/freezers)
• Has reliable transportation and arrives on time
• Stands/climbs 8–10 hours per day
• Effective communication skills
• Safety shoes required
• Passes pre‑employment drug screen and background check
• Other duties as assigned
