The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the airport's warehouse facility. This role involves supervising and leading a team of warehouse staff, including cargo handlers and stock clerks, to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. You will coordinate shipments, monitor inventory levels, and implement inventory control procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency. Additionally, this position requires conducting regular inspections of warehouse facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and resolving any issues related to inventory accuracy or cargo handling.
This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth operation of the airport's warehouse and cargo handling services.
- Supervise daily warehouse operations:
Oversee and coordinate activities related to the receipt, handling, storage, and dispatch of goods - Lead and manage warehouse staff:
Provide direction and supervision to warehouse personnel, ensuring effective team performance - Ensure adherence to safety regulations:
Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with company and legal safety standards - Monitor inventory levels:
Keep track of stock to manage inventory effectively and prevent shortages or excess - Coordinate the loading and unloading of goods:
Oversee the safe and efficient movement of items in and out of the warehouse - Implement and maintain organization systems:
Organize the storage of goods to optimize space and accessibility - Conduct quality control checks:
Ensure the quality of goods received and dispatched meets the required standards - Prepare and manage shipping documents:
Handle paperwork such as bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists - Liaise with internal departments and external partners:

- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

- Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
