Logistics Operations Associate is responsible for managing front desk operations related to inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory and shipping records, coordinating with carriers and vendors, and supporting warehouse operations. This position also plays a key role in conducting routine warehouse safety inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and workplace safety standards.
  • Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments and deliveries.
  • Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Inspect received materials for accuracy, quantity, and damage.
  • Maintain shipping and receiving logs, bills of lading, packing slips, and related records.
  • Enter shipment and inventory data into company systems accurately and timely.
  • Communicate shipment status and delivery updates to internal departments and customers.
  • Resolve discrepancies involving shipments, inventory, and documentation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, vendors, visitors, and warehouse personnel.
  • Answer phones, emails, and inquiries related to shipping and receiving activities.
  • Direct visitors and contractors according to company procedures.
  • Maintain organized records and filing systems.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and reporting as needed.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse safety inspections.
  • Identify and report safety hazards, unsafe conditions, and compliance concerns.
  • Verify that aisles, exits, fire extinguishers, and emergency equipment remain accessible and compliant.
  • Inspect warehouse storage areas to ensure proper material handling and stacking practices.
  • Monitor housekeeping standards and ensure work areas remain clean and organized.
  • Document inspection findings and track corrective actions through completion.
  • Support safety meetings, training initiatives, and incident investigations.
  • Assist management in maintaining compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements.
  • MHE safety inspections and trainings.
  • Purchases of various of items (amazon, etc).
