For our OnBoard USA office in Miami, FL, we are looking for the following profile:
Position:Warehouse Supervisor
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the warehouse to ensure the efficient, accurate, and safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials. This position is responsible for leading and managing a team of warehouse associates, coordinating workflows, maintaining high productivity standards, and enforcing company policies. The Warehouse Supervisor’s attention to detail and strong leadership skills is crucial to ensure smooth operations and a positive working environment for all team members.
- Three to Five years related experience or equivalent.
- Familiarity with shipping practices and handling methods.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Ensure inventory is properly stored, labeled, and managed according to company standards.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., purchasing, logistics, and customer service) to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance productivity.
- Implement best practices in warehouse management and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support team members by picking, packing, shipping and transporting incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack, and/or elevator.
- Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products.
- Ensure that warehouse operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
- Participates in quality improvement efforts.
- Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
