Inventory Associate

As an Inventory Associate in Car Max's Automotive Inventory Management department, you'll help ensure every vehicle and part is accurately accounted for, organized, and ready for customers. You will receive, verify, and record incoming vehicles and parts, perform regular cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies using Car Max's user-friendly systems. Partnering closely with sales and service teams, you'll support a smooth, honest car-buying experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and log incoming vehicle and parts inventory in the Car
• Max system
• Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Label, tag, and organize vehicles and parts for easy location and tracking
• Maintain accurate digital and physical inventory records in alignment with company standards
• Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure inventory availability and accuracy
• Inspect inventory for damage, proper documentation, and compliance with safety guidelines
• Operate basic warehouse/lot equipment and follow all safety procedures
• Support continuous improvement of inventory processes and participate in team meetings
