The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the airport's warehouse facility. This role involves supervising and leading a team of warehouse staff, including cargo handlers and stock clerks, to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. You will coordinate shipments, monitor inventory levels, and implement inventory control procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency. Additionally, this position requires conducting regular inspections of warehouse facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and resolving any issues related to inventory accuracy or cargo handling.

This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth operation of the airport's warehouse and cargo handling services.

Responsibilities include supervising daily warehouse operations, leading and managing warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating the loading and unloading of goods, implementing and maintaining organization systems, conducting quality control checks, preparing and managing shipping documents, liaising with internal departments and external partners, resolving operational issues and bottlenecks, training new employees on warehouse procedures, monitoring and reporting on staff performance, assisting in inventory audits and stocktaking, managing maintenance of warehouse equipment, implementing process improvements, exemplifying Prime Flight customer service and safety standards, and performing any additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications include being 18 years of age or older, eligible to work in the United States, having a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record, communicating effectively in English, previous experience in warehouse supervisory roles, knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control, familiarity with warehouse safety practices and procedures, ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, effectively communicating with colleagues and clients, passing a background check and drug screen, eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances, and being flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical activity/working conditions may include ability to lift up to 70 pounds, prolonged standing and walking in an indoor/outdoor environment as applicable, reaching with arms and grasping with hands, pushing, pulling, crawling and crouching in confined tight spaces, bending, stretching, squatting, kneeling, climbing and working at elevated heights, exposure to moderate and at times high noise levels, exposure to biohazards and/or chemicals, exposure to outdoor elements, ability to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms, and specific vision abilities required for this job.
