Forklift Operator

Job Title: Forklift Operator Location: Miami, FL Duration: Contract to Hire JOB INSIGHT:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts, loading and unloading materials, moving inventory, and maintaining accurate warehouse organization.

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Transport inventory between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.
• Verify product quantities, labels, and condition during material movement.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and company policies.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues.
• Maintain organized and clean storage areas and work spaces.
• Assist with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities as needed.
• Use warehouse management systems, scanners, or inventory documentation to track materials.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
• Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.

• Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and material-handling procedures.
• Ability to read labels, work orders, and basic inventory documentation.
• Good attention to detail and strong safety awareness.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
