Summary of Duties

Perform quality work within deadlines, with or without direct supervision. Interact professionally with other team members, guests, and vendors. Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments, as requested. Work independently, while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating efforts with other team members and organizations. Maintain strict privileged, proprietary guest and employer confidentiality during and beyond the terms of employment.

Adhere to all work rules, policies & procedures and safety standards.

To monitor the gaming floor and exterior to ensure safety for guests and team members, and asset protection.

• Monitor the gaming floor and exterior property at all times, identifying potential security or safety risks and report to the appropriate individual.
• Accurately update the daily communication log.
• Become knowledgeable of all casino games and associated rules.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Observe team member behaviors and actions and report any procedural or policy violations in writing to the Director.
• Utilize necessary equipment to identify, record, document and report illegal, suspicious or unusual activities occurring on property.
• Protect company assets and gaming integrity through the consistent, thorough monitoring of all activities on the gaming floor and perimeter.
• Provide an objective investigation and accurate documentation of all incidents and accidents.
• Work closely with Security personnel to resolve any immediate concern or situation while maintaining a cooperative demeanor.
• Report all concerns or issues to the Surveillance Manager and/or Director.
• Identify potential loss of revenue, including (but not limited to) cheats, devices, and scams.
• Obtain and maintain a gaming license.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a HIGH level of confidentiality.
• Practice the 5-10 rule with flawless execution internally & externally.

Requires problem-solving skills, keen observation skills, strong math skills, computer skills, and the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Position involves prolonged sitting, stooping or bending, lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, on a daily basis.

Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
