- Schedule and batch commodities and/or meat slurry into accurate batches of mixed meal delivered through hammer mill mixing and screening systems
- Operate a forklift to transport materials
- Safely operate production and processing equipment
- Perform quality checks and meet product specifications
- Perform sanitation duties and material handling
- Operate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on operating equipment using prescribed lockout procedures
- Use computer technology and basic math skills to perform job duties
- Occasionally work at high heights within the plant
- Work hands-on with a collaborative team to support production and maintain equipment and machinery
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military or related environment
- Basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to safely operate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on operating equipment
- Ability to use lock out procedures as prescribed
- Basic computer technology skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to occasionally work at high heights within the plant
- Must not require visa sponsorship
Demonstrates proficiency in operating and troubleshooting production equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Capable of performing quality checks and collaborating effectively within a team in a manufacturing environment.
