Job Requirements and Duties

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Have access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.
• Be able to read maps and navigate the delivery area, including adverse terrain such as multi‑story buildings.

• Operate all equipment used in order processing and delivery.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage and work areas.
• Prepare products for order fulfillment.
• Receive, process, and update telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.
• Attend orientation and complete on‑the‑job training.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers by car, including door hangers and flyers.
• Carry, lift, push, and pull product as needed during delivery.

• Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to give correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination for accurate and rapid movements with speed.
• Keyboard or touch‑screen proficiency for entering orders.
• Ability to navigate multi‑story buildings and adverse terrain while carrying product.

• Standing and walking for most tasks; occasional climbing of stairs or ladders.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds (e.g., bulk deliveries), carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Pushing/pulling dollies or trays (up to 30 pounds).
• Frequent reaching, bending, crouching, and pushing to accommodate warehouse and front counter duties.
• Operating hands and eye‑hand coordination for pizza preparation, fine motor tasks such as boxing, and operating kitchen equipment.

• Exposure to varying weather conditions when delivering outside.
• Temperature fluctuation from 36°F in cooler areas to 90°F and above in hot work areas.
• Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.
• Hazards include hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
• Noise of ovens and kitchen equipment; visual demands for near and mid‑range vision.
