We’re seeking a Sr. Vice President of Accounting who will own the accounting function, develop exceptional talent, and help shape the financial future of a company that refuses to settle for average.

This is more than a Sr. VP of Accounting role. We're looking for a leader who wants to help shape the financial future of the company—and, for the right person, this role offers a clear path to becoming our future Chief Financial Officer.

What You’ll Own:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team.
  • Lead and direct the firm's accounting function by establishing accounting policies, financial reporting standards, and organizational strategies, while overseeing all accounting operations.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee fund accounting activities, including capital accounts, waterfalls, allocations, capital call and distribution calculations, investor reporting, accounting for acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and complex partnership structures.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive internal control and accounting governance framework, including process standardization, control implementation, testing and continual improvement.
  • Enforce compliance with accounting policies, partnership and management agreements, debt covenants, and investor requirements.
  • Direct annual audits of corporate entities, investment funds, and property portfolios and manage implementation of audit recommendations and procedural improvements.
  • Partner with internal and external tax advisors regarding tax planning and compliance.
  • Ensure timely delivery of financial information required for federal, state, local, and international tax filings.
  • Support tax-efficient structuring of investments, acquisitions, dispositions, and fund formations.
  • Deliver strategic leadership for treasury, capital, and accounting initiatives, including liquidity management, lender reporting and compliance, M&A transaction accounting while modernizing accounting systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
  • Experience overseeing complex partnership structures, investment funds, and multi-entity consolidations.
  • Proven experience managing medium or large accounting organizations and developing team members.
