Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints, taking ownership of customer issues and providing end‑to‑end resolution.
Responsibilities- Answer 50 to 150 calls per shift.
- Handle calls involving fire alarms, police, fire, and EMS.
- Field customer questions and complaints; forward issues beyond knowledge to specialists or appropriate staff.
- Ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve callers’ problems and issues.
- Maintain accurate customer accounts and records of interactions, including details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
- Work three 12‑hour shifts from 7am to 7pm; no rotating shifts.
- Carry out any additional responsibilities as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum six months of customer‑service industry experience.
- Call‑center experience a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening.
- Service‑oriented attitude with ability to resolve customer grievances.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software.
- Clean background check.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Compensation & Benefits- Pay: $20 per hour.
