Role Purpose

The Customer Service Associate in the Parts Department provides customer support, and parts inventory control to the organization. Assist customers with issues that require follow up ensuring that customer inquiries, which begin at order desk, have been taken care of.

  • Utilizing our ERP SAP system to create quotes, orders, invoices and other related transactions
  • Provide customer support and perform data entry tasks
  • Check inventory levels and advise customer of product status
  • Follow up on orders that are on back order and keep customers up to date
  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone/email communication
  • Assist customers with understanding what parts to order based on need and product (Twin, Single Line etc.)
  • Complete customer transactions; charge client credit cards, collect credit card payments, generate backorder reports
  • Provide back-up support via scheduling service calls when required, as well as for warehouse
Qualifications & Experience
  • Software knowledge MS-Office
  • Practical technical insight and knowledge
  • University Degree / College Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • 2+ years’ experience as an Office Administrator, parts desk, or relevant experience
  • Strong Microsoft suite experience, Advanced Excel
  • 2+ years’ experience in Customer Service, Parts Desk, or Service Advisor
Skills & Personal Characteristics
  • Accurate and solution-oriented problem solver
  • Excellent communication skills and strong ability to deal with different personalities
  • Highly organized, and an efficient multi-tasker
  • SAP knowledge & experience
