Your Role: Manufacture or evaluate products according to established protocols, research and develop new and existing products in the department, provide technical support and guidance to others, and perform operations in support of the group and department.

• Safely perform operations to meet quality expectations
• Ensure quality throughout the process
• Complete the volume of work required to achieve group/departmental goals and meet deadlines
• Participate as needed in quality audits
• In compliance with change control procedures, improve processes through application of scientific knowledge, experience, and principles
• Identify opportunities for process improvement

• May lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• May occasionally wear appropriate protective gear such as hard hats, chemical-resistant suits, safety shoes, and other related personal protection equipment to protect themselves from toxic or corrosive chemicals in the forms of liquids, solids, vapors or airborne particles

• Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Chemistry, or other Life Science discipline

• 5+ years of laboratory experience
• Experience with safe chemical handling methods
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Computer skills
• Mechanical skills
• Scientific troubleshooting skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Organizational skills
• Knowledge of ISO Quality standards

Pay Range for this position: $68,700-$117,200/year. The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
