LJB offers challenging and rewarding assignments for co-op students and summer interns.

Students work with experienced engineers and are exposed to a variety of civil engineering challenges. They also get the opportunity to work on real world projects in a professional environment. We are filling a Water Resources Engineering Internship or Co-op in our Dayton, Ohio office.

Pay: $18+ an hour

Civil Engineering Co-op General Requirements

• Must be a civil engineering major at an accredited university
• Must be entering their Junior or Senior year of college
• Some travel may be required
• U.S. citizenship required

Civil Engineering Co-op Job Duties

• Work on job assignments related to area of engineering discipline focus
• Perform routine tasks under close supervision using well established standards, procedures and drawings
• Students will be exposed to design processes as well as various office and field procedures

Civil Engineering Co-op Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Must be able to travel to various project sites
• Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas
