Your Role

The Procurement Specialist position is a senior-level technical position within the supply chain function and fulfillment job family. This position is responsible for the first point of entry into the procurement organization and expected to quickly understand the operations and impact procurement has on other up and downstream departments. This role ensures that materials are obtained in a timely manner and from suppliers that meet or exceed our quality requirements.

Transactional and strategic work includes but is not limited to obtaining/maintaining prices and delivery information from the suppliers. Ensuring purchase orders and material master data is updated and accurate. Working with suppliers and other internal teams to ensure timely delivery and release of materials to meet production schedules. Host and attend internal and external meetings to ensure alignment with delivery timelines, identify risks and alternative supply options.

You Are

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics
  • 2+ years of procurement or supply chain management

Or

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 4+ years experience in scheduling, planning or purchasing.
  • 3+ years procurement or purchasing function using a MRP and/or ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years experience analyzing data using SAP and Microsoft Office.
Environmental Conditions

General Office Environment:
Noise level in office environment is generally quiet. Occasionally required to wear appropriate protective gear, (glasses/goggles, gloves, safety shoes) when visiting the manufacturing or packaging areas.

Physical Requirements

If performing office duties:
Employee is required to sit, stand, hear, and use hands to operate all office equipment.

  • Employee must view computer monitors for long periods of time. Vision requirements are close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Employee occasionally will be required to lift, generally no more than 25 pounds.
  • Employee will occasionally be required to wear PPE including steel toed shoes, safety glasses and cut resistant gloves. Facility in Miamisburg, OH

Pay Range for this position: 40, salary

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses.
