Job Overview

We are presently seeking a Production Supervisor who will lead production activities of the site production operators for specific elements of the production process. The emphasis of this role is on maintaining, ramping‑up, and downsizing production levels as required while achieving high levels of on‑time delivery, quality, and productivity in a skilled technical environment.

Location:
Miamisburg, OH
- Daily management of production operators for specific elements of the production process at the site to meet operational goals and objectives.
- Work closely with Site Leadership to ensure capacity and materials planning for the assigned area of production.
- Identify and/or implement improvement programs in productivity, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, health and safety regulations, and related regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with internal customers/departments to meet production demands and exceed expectations.
- Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate direct reports; ensure quality leadership of the production employee group while promoting teamwork in the manufacturing environment.
- Report on key metrics to both production and site management to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field preferred).
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Practical ability to act in a complex manufacturing environment.
- Skills that enable the company to operate in an environment of constant transition with high performance targets.
- Leader who motivates others to achieve company goals and consistently meet growth targets.
- Strong bias for action and results; drives self and others to deliver on commitments.
- Must be able to use MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Position requires the use of information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Visa sponsorship is not available for any position at Teledyne.
