Job Summary

We are looking for an Assembler who will perform a combination of tasks to assemble electronic components, sub‑assemblies, products, or systems.
Position Details- Schedule:
4/10 Mon – Thurs - Location:
Miamisburg, OH - Sign‑on bonus: $2,000 for qualified individuals
- Receive detailed instructions on all work, under close supervision.
- Position and align parts in fixtures or other holding devices.
- Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as soldering, potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy, bonding, curing, laser welding, operation of pneumatic machinery and pneumatic presses.
- Install finished assemblies or sub‑assemblies in cases or other packing material.
- May perform assembly operations under a microscope or other magnifying device.
- Mount assembled components such as resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits.
- Connect components and wires to printed circuit boards or route via soldering.
- Adjust and trim materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.
- Perform inline testing and inspection using measuring instruments and electrical test equipment to ensure parts and assemblies meet production standards.
- Cross‑train on other programs in the facility as needed.
- Perform various repair/rework operations using approved written procedures.
- Utilize schematics and blueprint drawings to complete work.
- Work intermittent overtime typically completed on Fridays.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an IPC/J‑STD certification within 90 days of employment and throughout tenure.
- Ability to obtain an ATF possession permit.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to Department of Energy requirements.
- Six to twenty‑four months of industrial experience or similar training.
- Ability to read schematics and assembly prints, and familiarity with wiring, welding, bonding, and soldering operations.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100.
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods; some bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and mild lifting of 10 lbs. or less. Some assemblers may be required to intermittently lift up to 50 lbs.
