Job Summary

Be visionary Teledyne Technologies Incorporated provides enabling technologies for industrial growth markets that require advanced technology and high reliability. We are looking for an Assembler who will perform a combination of tasks to assemble electronic components, sub‑assemblies, products, or systems.

• Sign‑on bonus: $2,000 for qualified individuals

• Receive detailed instructions on all work, under close supervision.
• Position and align parts in fixtures or other holding devices.
• Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as soldering, potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy, bonding, curing, laser welding, operation of pneumatic machinery and pneumatic presses.
• Install finished assemblies or sub‑assemblies in cases or other packing material.
• May perform assembly operations under a microscope or other magnifying device.
• Mount assembled components such as resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits.
• Connect components and wires to printed circuit boards or route via soldering.
• Adjust and trim materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.
• Perform inline testing and inspection using measuring instruments and electrical test equipment to ensure parts and assemblies meet production standards.
• Cross‑train on other programs in the facility as needed.
• Perform various repair/rework operations using approved written procedures.
• Utilize schematics and blueprint drawings to complete work.
• Work intermittent overtime typically completed on Fridays.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an IPC/J‑STD certification within 90 days of employment and throughout tenure.
• Ability to obtain an ATF possession permit.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills at all organizational levels.
• Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to Department of Energy requirements.

• Six to twenty‑four months of industrial experience or similar training.
• Ability to read schematics and assembly prints, and familiarity with wiring, welding, bonding, and soldering operations.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100.

Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods; some bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and mild lifting of 10 lbs. or less. Some assemblers may be required to intermittently lift up to 50 lbs.
