The Manufacturing Team Lead is responsible for leading daily production operations by motivating the team, solving problems in real time, ensuring inventory accuracy, and driving performance through strong attention to detail, effective delegation, and use of production systems such as Net Suite and Redzone.

• Champions a culture of safety by modeling and always enforcing safe work practices.
• Drives high performance and continuous improvement with a strong commitment to product quality and product safety.
• Monitors production schedules, labor, and material availability and adjusts resources as needed to meet daily targets.
• Actively manages daily performance by understanding where the department stands throughout the shift; pushes the team when performance is red and celebrates wins when performance is green.
• Serves as a positive, motivating presence on the floor, acting as a cheerleader for the team while maintaining accountability to goals and standards.
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills by identifying issues, addressing root causes, and escalating risks as needed.
• Maintains attention to detail in all areas of production, including documentation, product handling, and adherence to procedures.
• Learns, understands, and effectively utilizes Net Suite and Redzone to manage production reporting, downtime, and performance tracking.
• Supports inventory accuracy by ensuring proper material usage, reporting, and adherence to production and inventory controls.
• Maintains an efficient, safe, and clean work environment.
• Understands and follows Manufacturing instructions as documented on Killer Brownie recipes and related documentation.
• Assists in performing and conducting accurate daily SQF documentation.
• Learns the strengths of individual team members and appropriately delegates work to maximize performance, engagement, and development.
• Conducts regular team huddles to communicate daily priorities, performance status, and expectations.
• Helps lead 6S projects and is a champion of sharing and reinforcing 6S practices with the team.
• Develop operators and the manufacturing team through hands‑on training, coaching, mentoring, and real‑time feedback to drive skill growth, performance improvement, and a high-performance culture.
• Maintains clear and consistent communication with FSQA, Packaging, Maintenance, Baking, and Warehouse teams.
• Oversee the department in the absence of the Manufacturing Supervisor.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned that are reasonably within the scope of the role.

• Proven ability to lead teams and delegate effectively.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn and utilize production systems such as Net Suite and Redzone.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate teams and drive performance through positive leadership.
• Successful in defining and implementing effective processes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Prior leadership experience or a minimum of 12 months in the Team Operator role at The Killer Brownie Company.
• Strong knowledge of SQF and GMPs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Frequent reaching, bending, pulling, and pushing.
