Licensed Vocational Nurse, LVN

• Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit
• Gather and report patient data
• Carry out orders
• Perform therapeutic procedures on patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner
• Follow PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates
• Current BLS certification required; certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required

Demonstrates proficiency in providing nursing care under the direction of an RN, with a focus on patient data gathering, therapeutic procedures, and adherence to health policies. Holds essential certifications and licensure to ensure compliance with state regulations and quality patient care.
