Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN – FT Nights

• Providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit
• Gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients
• Performing other related duties as assigned or requested

• Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
• Current BLS certification required
• BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required

Demonstrates proficiency in providing nursing care under the direction of an RN, with a focus on patient data reporting and therapeutic procedures. Holds essential certifications and licensure to ensure compliance with state regulations and hospital standards.
