Registered Nurse, PRN

• Deliver, direct, and supervise care to patients admitted to the nursing unit
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary planning
• Coordinate discharge planning
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization
• Access community resources
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
• May perform Charge Nurse duties

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
• Current BLS certification is required
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to utilize the nursing process and deliver, direct, and supervise patient care

Demonstrates expertise in patient care delivery, interdisciplinary planning, and discharge coordination, with a strong focus on patient and family education. Holds current RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certifications, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
