Registered Nurse, PRN Nights

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary planning
• Coordinate discharge planning
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization
• Access community resources
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
• May perform Charge Nurse duties

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates
• Current BLS certification is required
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required

Demonstrates expertise in patient care delivery, interdisciplinary planning, and discharge coordination, while effectively utilizing community resources. Holds current nursing licensure and certifications to ensure high-quality care in a medical-surgical setting.
